A PASSION FOR COSTUME & FASHION
'I always had an interest in fashion and sewing from a young age, sewing and knitting with my gran every weekend from the age of 6, whilst watching The Sound of Music on VHS. At 11 I decided I wanted to be a Fashion Designer and that never changed as I grew up.
I first fell in love with costume after watching the extras feature on the 'Sleepy Hollow' DVD. I'd always loved Tim Burton movies, even as a child, but had never thought of a career in Costume until the second year of my Fashion Diploma when my teacher indentified my love of the elaborate and recommended I go on to study a degree in Costume.
From there I never looked back, I loved creating dramatic pieces along with the structured garments such as corsets and crinolines. I put my all into every garment I create and am so thankful to be able to do what I love every single day.
